Program is to provide an independent clinical assessment to determine a level of need and recommend the most appropriate, least restrictive service to meet the patient’s presenting problem. The program is developed to maintain patients in the community setting i.e. to avert hospitalization or re-hospitalization; provide normative environments with a high assurance of safety and security; stabilize patients in mental health crisis; and mobilize the resources of the community and natural support systems for ongoing maintenance and rehabilitation. Refine operates like a hospital emergency department that accepts all walk-ins as well as ambulance, fire, and police drop offs, Our facility is characterized by chairs/recliners to maximize flexibility in capacity and client flow.
